Established November 1, 2013, The Chairos School is a Nigerian co-educational school set-up to cater for children between the ages of 6 months-18 years old. It adopts a multi-cultural curriculum that compliments the main Nigerian curriculum to teach.
The Chairos School is the medium through which the Chairos Foundation executes Educational projects. Situated in Lekki Phase 1, The Chairos School is packaged to offer wholistic Education to prospective clients.
Our Creche service is for children 0-30 months with a teacher to pupil ratio of 2:1. Daily programmes include structured and collaborative play (extra-curricular activities), nursery care and light curricular exercises. The curricular programme revolve around the Nigerian Curriculum and the Montessori Approach. The crèche is structured to admit children from all Nationals. The teachers are experienced Education graduates and very conversant with the Montessori Method of Education.
The Nursery School admits children from 30months - 48months. Daily programmes include structured play and planned curricular lessons based on the Nigerian curriculum and the Montessori Programme. The Teacher-Pupil ratio is 1:2. The teachers are experienced Education graduates and very conversant with the Montessori Method of Education. Some excursions are open to children in the Nursery school with parental consent.
The Primary School admits children 6-12 years into Basic-1 - Basic-6. Programmes are structured around the Nigerian Curriculum and the Montessori Approach of learning. The Teacher-Pupil ratio is 1:2. The teachers are experienced Education graduates and very conversant with the Montessori Method of Education. Excursions are open to children in the Primary school with parental consent.
What We Offer
These have been planned on parent’s requests for pupils. Alternatively, parents may choose to pack lunch for their kids or wards.
We compliment a child’s learning ability by teaching and encouraging our pupils to play a music instrument by the end of primary education
To assist parents with school runs, we have a structured bus service for every school day.
Children are exposed to structured play and sports under the subject Physical and Health Education.
We compliment curricular activities with Art, a medium through which our pupils express themselves.
We teach general decorum to help settle our pupils at school between their teachers and peers.
The Rail Club
This is our afterschool hangout for children between the ages of 6-16years that offers Music, homework support, pep talk, counselling, sports and games (indoor/outdoor).
